Affordable and Inclusive Housing
Affordable and Inclusive Housing
Inclusive Housing Program
Since its founding, ERASE Racism has led region-wide and state-wide efforts to advance fair housing on Long Island through a multifaceted strategy that includes using research to identify and expose impediments to housing equity, educating stakeholders, forming coalitions, and advocating for policies to remedy and prevent racial segregation and discrimination.
ERASE Racism continues to be innovative in its approach, recently developing a unique assessment tool that can quantitatively measure a proposed housing development’s potential to reduce segregation and promote racial equity. See below for more on the tool!
